Goals for 2025

Keeping track of things that I hope to accomplish in 2025. I may add to this in the future - I am writing this in the last minutes of 2024.

Goals

Read a research paper every day.
Continue reading a blog post / Wikipedia article / something else every day. Write a daily reading reading article every day.
~~Complete a machine learning project every day to improve my knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and working with data.~~
1. I am abandoning this goal because I think it takes too much time out of my day. I think it would be more beneficial to learn how some Python libraries like NumPy and TensorFlow/PyTorch work at a deep level first (and learn about the match behind them) than to complete a project every day.
Learn how to use Blender proficiently.
Learn ThreeJS.
Create an online version of SolidWorks that people can use.
Create a system for effectively rendering plots/charts/graphs on this site.
Learn more about AI. Make an AI writing assistant / coding assistant that you can use on this site.
Learn more about various topics.
1. I mainly read about computer science / machine learning in 2024. In 2025, I want to read more about aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, review some mechanical engineering topics, chemical engineering / chemistry, biology/anatomy, the trades / construction, and law.
Knock some more books off of Mortimer Adler's Reading List.
Write more blog posts.
Write about my ideas more often.
Get back into 3D printing / electronics.
